Art in Space and Time

Footnotes Podcast

A footnote is a piece of information placed at the bottom of a page: it suggests additions to the flow of a larger text. Brief yet enlightening, it draws our attention to a detail — something one might quite literally collect while walking through a text.

At the Chair, we extend this notion of a footnote to the voice, to living conversations and exchanges. Footnotes is a podcast that brings together discussions on artistic procedures, performances, and social phenomena, as well as textual experiments on narration, poetic practices, and compositional moods. Each conversation reveals the intertwined connection between praxis and poetics, highlighting an art of making while reflecting on it.

Each series consists of two episodes: one with a member of the Chair of Art in Space and Time, and another with a guest.
